Cryopak’s Technical Services Manager, Anthony Alleva, is scheduled to conduct a workshop at this year’s IQPC in Toronto
Edison, NJ – February 12, 2012 –Cryopak, leader temperature controlled package design and manufacturing, will be represented at this year’s Cold Chain & Temp Management Summit February 27- March 1 2012 in downtown Toronto. This workshop titled, Implementing a Pre-Qualified Packaging System into your International Cold Chain, will cover the increasing regulatory requirements that life science companies are facing and how these regulations, coupled with shortened time to market and limited resources for life science companies, has led to an increase in the use of "pre-qualified" passive shipping solutions.
"Evaluating and implementing these solutions across international as well as domestic shipping lanes can bring as many questions as answers," Alleva said. "This workshop is designed to help identify and provide answers to those questions."
What you will learn:
• Considerations and trade-offs used when designing a pre-qualified system
• What standards exist for international shipments and how revisions to Health Canada GUI-0069 apply
• Be able to evaluate a pre-qualified system for your specific needs
How you will benefit:
• Identify what risks could be associated with these systems
• How they can be used in the development of future alternatives
• How they can fit into your current short term and long term requirements
Join Anthony for Tuesday, February 28th for Workshop B, 12:15 – 3:15 on Implementing a Pre-qualified Packaging System into your International Cold Chain
