Temperature Assurance Packaging

Case Study
A cost effective solution lights up electronic manufacturer

A Large Solder Paste Manufacturer in the Northeast U.S. needed to ship their product worldwide between 2-15 degrees C for 72 hours. In addition, their customers in the semi-conductor, automotive and aerospace industries needed a particle free package to eliminate any cross contamination with their processes. After attempting to develop package inserts using corrugate, chipboard, polystyrene and polyurethane, the customer came to TCP for an answer.

The Engineers at TCP developed a polyethylene insert that met all of their requirements and did so at a low cost.
By understanding the entire system, what started as a temperature controlled solution also solved a particulate and cost containment problem

A win-win solution for everyone.
